Each episode offers not just stories, but validation, empowerment, and a sense of belonging—helping pave the way for greater visibility for future generations.

The series is hosted by psychotherapist and author Catherine Asta, with thoughtful editing by her daughter, Caty Ava. In its fourth season, launched in January 2025, Catherine is joined on select episodes by guest co-host and author Pete Wharmby, adding new depth and perspective to the conversations.

With listeners spanning more than 130 countries, the podcast rose to become the #1 global podcast for “female autism” in 2025—a testament to its impact and resonance.

In June 2025, after four seasons and more than 65 episodes, the decision was made to pause the podcast. But the heart of the mission continues to beat strongly. The community lives on through vital post-discovery support offerings, including peer and connection circles, an online gathering space, and ongoing educational opportunities designed to nurture growth and connection.

Since its inception, The Late Discovered Club has touched nearly a quarter of a million lives—placing it among the top 5% of podcasts worldwide—and, more importantly, leaving a lasting imprint of understanding, empowerment, and change.
